Advertising your caravan and dealing with potential customers can be very time consuming. We will deal with all aspects of letting your caravan, giving you more time to yourself. Our services include:

· Sending out payment receipts and booking forms

· Ensuring payments are made on time

· Payment of passes (where required, e.g. Butlins)

How do you advertise my caravan?

We have a webpage which appears on search engine sites such as Google, putting us in contact with  thousand of potential customers every day. Your caravan will appear on our Facebook page with over 18,500 likes, Tiktok and Instagram which is increasing in popularity month on month. We also advertise your caravan on 3rd party sites such as and Ukcaravans4hire. 

How do I receive my payment?

You will receive payment minus our fees after the guests have paid in full.


Sub-letting your caravan with Meadow Lakes Caravan is risk free. You don't pay a penny unless we book out your caravan. Our fee is a commission of your rental income. Our commission rate is just 15% + VAT (18% in total), Plus any cleaning or maintenance fees.

We will check your guest in, provide keys codes and provide any information your guest may need.

After your Guests departs, we will arrange the cleaning of your Holiday Home.


  • We’ll keep you up to date

We will update you as and when required or simply contact us at your own convenience for letting updates.


  • We look after you

If you have any queries or issues with the caravan we can arrange for repairs and maintenance to be

carried out.

By subletting with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.



As Meadow Lakes Caravan Hire is acting as the Agent for you, the owner, it is your responsibility to ensure that your caravan is adequately insured against loss, damage & 3rd Party Liability.



During a Letting Season repairs, replacements and cleaning services may be required to keep your caravan to the necessary standard. If this is the case charges may apply. Where possible we will always advise you of any repairs required before going ahead with them. We will aim to take photographic evidence of any damages incurred. To ensure that you do not lose out on lettings Income.



Upon guests departure (that book direct with us), we will be responsible for cleaning your Caravan. After you have used your caravan it is your responsibility to clean the unit prior to it being Sublet through us. We aim to clean your caravan to a high standard for both our guests & for your use.



The following needs to be arranged by you the Owner. (a copy of these will be required)

• Annual Gas & Appliance Servicing including the flue and ventilation will be carried out when due .

• Electric Tests are due annually & will be carried out when due.

• PAT tests for all electrical portable items need to be carried out annually & will be carried out when due.

• Smoke alarms, Carbon Monoxide, Fire Extinguishers & Fire blankets must be provided and in full working order.

• CO2 checks will be tested annually.

· All Tests and inspections that we arrange will be charged to your account.



Gas & Electricity used is paid for by you, The Owner.

All caravans which use bottled gas must have an automatic change over valve fitted.



Reasonable Wear & Tear during Subletting will occur. Just like in your own home items will deteriorate over

time through usage.  Where damages occur we will try and recover costs from the guests however we will not be held liable for any damages or monies lost due to damages caused.


Your Letting Dates

Please let us know of any changes you want to make as soon as possible. You will not be able to take back a letting break if your Holiday Home has already been pre-booked.



You will receive payment minus our fees after the guests have paid in full, the money will be paid to you after the guests stay.



For any bookings cancelled by guests the non refundable deposit will be held by us to cover administrative costs.
